Ecommerce SEO Services

Somebody searches for the thing you sell, scrolls past the ads, and buys from one of the first stores that looks like it has the product in stock. Ecommerce SEO services are the work of being one of those stores. We build the category pages, the product pages and the technical fixes that get you there, on Shopify, BigCommerce or WooCommerce, and you work with the people actually doing it rather than an account manager relaying it.

The problem

Why stores lose the search

It is almost never that the other store sells a better product. They have a real page for each category, product descriptions written for shoppers rather than copied from the manufacturer, and a store fast enough to survive a phone on a train. Most stores we look at have one Shop page trying to rank for everything and product pages Google has quietly filed as duplicates.

You are on page two for the searches that would actually bring you orders.
One Shop page carrying every category, ranking for none of them.
Every month of manufacturer copy on your product pages is another month Google treats them as a duplicate of everyone else selling the same thing.

What we actually do

The work, in order

The technical fixes go first, because a store Google cannot crawl properly wastes everything built on top of it. Then a real page per category, written for the person shopping that one thing. Then product pages in your own words, with the price, the stock status and the shipping cost where a shopper and a search engine can both read them.

The technical layer, fixed properly. Crawlable filters, clean URLs, product schema, and a store that loads before a shopper gives up.
A page per category, each written for the person searching that one thing.
Product pages in your own words, with price, stock and shipping visible before checkout.
Afterwards

What changes

The long tail moves first, often inside two or three months: the specific product searches nobody else bothered to write a page for. The category terms that carry real volume take longer, six to twelve months, because the stores sitting there have been building links for years. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is selling something else.

Where we work

Every platform, the same work

The platform changes which settings we have to fight. It does not change the work: crawlable categories, real product pages, and a store that loads fast on a phone.

What it costs

Quoted per firm quoted per firm, before anything starts

Two questions come first, always: what SEO services for ecommerce cost, and what happens after the build. The build is quoted once, in full. The ongoing work is monthly and you can stop it. What moves the number is how many categories need real pages, how many products carry manufacturer copy today, and whether you also need an ecommerce web design agency rather than only the SEO layer. Paid clicks keep getting more expensive and every one of them stops the day you stop paying, which is exactly why the organic side is worth doing properly.

Questions

Before you get in touch

The questions store owners actually ask, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

How much do ecommerce SEO services cost?

Quotes are free and the quoted number is the number. Ongoing work on a store generally runs a few thousand a month once category pages, product pages and technical fixes are all running, and less if you only need the one-off cleanup.

How long before it works?

Long-tail product searches often move in two to three months. The category terms that carry real volume take six to twelve. Anyone promising faster is selling something else.

Do I need to move platforms?

Usually not. Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce can all rank perfectly well, and a replatform costs more than it looks like it will. Moving earns its cost when the platform blocks the fix rather than slows it down, and we will tell you which one you are looking at before quoting either.

What does an ecommerce website cost to build?

A build is quoted once, in full, before it starts. The number moves with how many products and categories need real pages, whether the store can be improved or has to be rebuilt, and how much product photography the project carries. A number that arrives later as a surprise line item is not a quote, it is a hook.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Month to month. If it is not working you should be able to leave, and if we are any good you will not want to.
